We have been sitting tight for a very long time to see ex-couple Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan together onscreen for a long time. Only a couple of days prior we ended up spouting over behind the scene footage of an advert they are shooting for together. And after that came one outstanding news that the exquisite looking pair will come together for Ek Tha Tiger sequel titled Tiger Zinda Hai.
Yet, we didn’t hear any official affirmation, so it kept us from praising this piece. Today, putting a seal on it, YRF tweeted out the title, cast and release date declaration poster to fans. Also, now we are celebrating. Yes. It’s affirmed that Katrina and Salman have both been taken together for the sequel of the romantic thriller.
Kat and Salman played ISI agent and RAW agents, separately, in the first film, who fall in love for each other and elope. We know how Tiger and Zoya’s romantic tale had such a great amount left to say at the end of Ek Tha Tiger. I mean c’mon the two spies were still on the run together, and were being spotted at different areas the whole way across the globe. The national security groups of India and Pakistan are not going to sit discreetly on that.
Likewise, The tagline on the poster states “An Indian agent. A Pakistani spy. Against a common enemy…” So we can figure Kat and Salman will bring down some enormous ass foe in the film who is a risk to the worldwide security? Such a great amount in store for us. More romance, more action and more thrill is without a doubt on our way with Tiger Zinda Hai.
Ali Abbas Zafar replaces Kabir Khan as the director for the sequel. Salman and Ali recently produced the blockbuster film Sultan. Kabir and Salman are coming together for Tubel1ight, which will be their collab, after Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. What’s more, Kat has worked with Kabir in New York and Ek Tha Tiger.
In any case, you will have a hard time believing that we will need to sit tight for this one to hit the screens. The release date on publication peruses Christmas 2017. 22 December, 2017, exactly. Tragically, there is still over a year to go for this film. In any case, we have as of now sat tight four years for the film, what is in a year more…
Katrina took to her Facebook page and made the same declaration. She shared the poster and subtitled it “Ek tha, hai aur hamesha rahega… Tiger Zinda Hai!!!” We gotta hear her out. Isn’t that right?
So remember that… Tiger Zinda Hai!
